Ingredients of Suji Uttapam Recipe
1 cup semolina (rava)
½ cup curd
½ cup water
1/4 cup onion (finely chopped)
1/4 cup tomato (finely chopped)
2 green chilies (finely chopped)
1 small carrot (finely chopped)
1 tbsp coriander leaves (finely chopped)
salt to taste
Oil for making uttapam.
How To Make Sooji Uttapam Recipe
Mix semolina, curd and water in a big pan. Leave it covered for 30 minutes so that the semolina gets kneaded well and then the mixture becomes thick.
Now add onion, tomato, green chili, carrot, green coriander and salt to this mixture. Mix well.
Heat a griddle and apply oil to it.
When the oil is hot, pour the uttapam mixture on the pan and slowly make small round uttapams.
Cook the uttapam on a medium flame, applying oil from both the sides, till it turns golden and crisp.
Turn the uttapam over and cook from the other side as well till it turns golden brown.
Cook uttapam like naan or dosa and serve hot.
Serve uttapam with tomato chutney, coconut chutney or sambar. fun to eat
